Joplin, Missouri...

Twenty Eleven has brought about some major disasters.  From floods here in Queensland, to earthquakes in Christchurch and Japan, to tornadoes in the USA.  The latest tragedy is the tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri on the 23rd of May.

I cannot comprehend the loss involved in such an event, or any of the disasters that have occurred this year.  Carlos Whittaker and Crosspoint.tv have been able to comprehend it.  They went there and helped out with the Mobile Hope Center.

Here is video footage that was taken during their days in Joplin.  We really have no idea.

Stretching my Child Mind: Francis Chan on Erasing Hell...

Carlos Whittaker shared on his blog, Ragamuffin Soul a Francis Chan YouTube where Chan talks about his new book, Erasing Hell, which will be released in July, 2011.  I love hearing what Francis Chan has to talk about. He gets in deep. He discusses meat matters from the Word, not just milk.

Take a look ... see what you think. Personally, I need to watch it again (and probably again) to let it all sink in. I am a fan of Chan's and have both his books already - Crazy Love and Forgotten God. I dare say this one will be just as confronting for me.
