He will restore me.
God is faithful, wonderful, righteous and ever loving. He is my King and I love Him for giving me the strength I need to get through this period.
I am listening to "Your Love, O Lord" by Third Day while writing this post. Even though verses from Psalm 36 are reflected mostly in the song, I was instantly reminded of this song while reading the above chapters. Please enjoy the verses below and the song.
19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens.
You have done such wonderful things.
Who can compare with you, O God?
20 You have allowed me to suffer much hardship,
but you will restore me to life again
and lift me up from the depths of the earth.
21 You will restore me to even greater honor
and comfort me once again.
22 Then I will praise you with music on the harp,
because you are faithful to your promises, O my God.
I will sing praises to you with a lyre,
O Holy One of Israel.
23 I will shout for joy and sing your praises,
for you have ransomed me.
24 I will tell about your righteous deeds
all day long,
for everyone who tried to hurt me
has been shamed and humiliated.
Psalm 71:19-24 (NLT)
Beautiful post Paula! AMEN!
ReplyDeleteDid you see my post on FB saying I had posted on my blog? The title is "Restoration By Another Name". Not a coincidence that we both have the message of restoration or restoring. Check it out. Love, the other Paula
