This Year...

Twenty Twelve is going to be a busy year. What am I saying? It's already busy!

The year started off with a visit from my mum, which was such an enjoyable time! Jasmine and I still miss her not being here! Work and school started with aplomb. Jasmine is in Year 3 and I commenced as a team leader at work, which I'm absolutely loving!

Our next steps for the year include Jasmine starting the Marching Band this week. Training twice a week and fyfe practise every day. She is also joining the school choir, and hopefully a swim squad, too. These are her goals that she planned out for this year. It's so wonderful to see Jasmine advancing and maturing so much!

My goals for the year include doing more painting (paid and unpaid), holding a monthly art stall, doing one on one art tutoring, and teaching art to homeschooled kiddies! I've also decided that I would like to study for a Diploma in Business. As I've been working for over 26 years, it's time to get the piece of paper to prove it!

This year is going to be a bright one! And I'm trusting God for it to be so. With what He has provided Jasmine and I so far this year, we surely will be blessed for the remainder of it.

"I know whom I have believed and I am confident that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him." - 2 Timothy 1:12

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it." - Philippians 1:6

How is your year panning out so far?

  1. Paula, I pray that this year you will move forward on these goals. My word for 2012 is adventure. Since I've been living with change for the past three years, I asked God to give me a new perspective. Instead of being fearful of change, I want to embrace it. After all, God is in control and I'm walking with Him through it all.

    God bless you and Jasmine!

    Love,
    Debbie
